A Sense of Place

You can fly or sail to North Ronaldsay. Loganair operate an 8 seater Islander plane which flies 3 times daily from Kirkwall. The flight takes 15 minutes and costs £21 return. It's a beautiful flight out over the North Isles and Fair Isle and Foula can often be spotted on the horizon too if it's a clear day. For further details see www.loganair.co.uk/reservations/. Orkney Ferries operate a service from Kirkwall on Tuesdays and Fridays. During the time of the exhibition there will also be day trips from Kirkwall on Sundays 24th July and 7th August. Once you're on North Ronaldsay The Old Manse is fairly easy to spot - it's the two story building on the hill next to the community centre and school.
